Package holiday. Definition and rules

“Package holidays have as objects travels, holidays, all included resorts and cruises, which are the result of the combination of at least two of the following elements, sold at a lump sum:

a)    transport;

b)    accommodation

c)     other services not related to transport or accommodation which constitute a significant part of the package holiday

 The separate invoice of the element of the same package does not release the organizer or the seller from his obligations”

This is the definition provided by article 34 of the Tourism Code, which also equalizes travel agents’ and online travel agents. The time length of the holiday is not taken into consideration: the trip can be also less than 24 hours.
