The European Commission gives consumers lots of tools enabling you to play an active role in the European policy-making process.

Here you can find information on public consultations launched by the European Commission in the consumer field.

Public consultations allow citizens to take part in shaping European policy by expressing their point of view about lots of different areas, whereas the Commission is interested in collecting opinions and proposals.

Moreover, the European Commission gives consumer also the possibility to visit online blogs and forums, in order to have your say in debates on the European Union and its future, discuss issues directly with leading figures and exchange views with other citizens interested in the same topics.
