Who manages ADR?
ADR notified bodies that meet Recommendation 98/257/EC in Italy are:

the banking Ombudsman – it is composed by five members: the President is
named by the Governor of the Banca d’Italia (Italy’s central bank), one member
is named by the Forensic National Council, one by the National Council of
Economists and two by the President of the Italian banking association. All
members must respect the requirements of 1998 EC Recommendation, and in
particular they must not belong to consumers associations.

The Chambers of Commerce of Milan and Rome - conciliatory bodies composed
by three members: one is named by the company, one by the consumer and a super
partes member named by the Chamber of Commerce itself.

Telecom Conciliation and Arbitration Commissions,
composed by a conciliator named by Telecom and by a member of the Consumer
Association. These commissions are active in all Telecom regional offices in
Italy.
